On August 15th, the ‘1Dream1Korea’ initiative held an event at the Lincoln Memorial in the U.S. capitol. Armed with the fans given out during the event, crowds gathered from all over the D.C. area in support of the Korean Unification campaign.
The event featured numerous performers and speakers, including two K-Pop singers, Na Yoon Kwon and Yangpa. The two singers were apart of the Unification Song campaign with renowned composer, Kim Hyung-suk. While the official Unification Song was not performed, the Demo version was unveiled at the event.
The campaign’s existence is owed greatly towards the One Korea Foundation founder, Dr. Jai Ryu who has worked tirelessly for Korean Unification.
