Global Women’s Future Forum

The first Global Women’s Future Forum, organized by Global Peace Women, was convened at the National Assembly Library Hall in 2015 and has continued to engage scholars and political and civil society leaders to develop and support opportunities for women to contribute to strengthening families as a key asset in advancing peaceful reunification.

A recent outcome of these ongoing forums is the Unification in the Home curriculum—an action-based study series to help women and families understand the current Korean division and become engaged with reunification efforts. Other topics addressed in the future forums include preventing gender-based violence and upholding the extended family model to strengthen the society.
